  • Convenient hours – Work around life commitments with anesthetic lists available Monday to Saturday. You set your availability and list length.
  • Flexibility – agree to work as many or as few shifts as you would like. Want to work once a month, no problems. Want to build skills and work every week, we can help.
  • Minimal travel – ability to work close to home.
  • Good remuneration – generous hourly rate with Xaler striving to pay you within 48 hours of a list.
  • No stress – you provide the medical care, and we provide all kit and consumables, booking and billing services.
  • No pointless paperwork – Our system is streamlined allowing you to do what you do best.
  • Consistency – once you have been working with us for some time, there is the ability to have set lists on a regular basis partnered with the same dental clinics every time for greater familiarity and efficiency.

Essential skills

We are looking for doctors who are comfortable performing a procedural sedation. The aim of dental sedation is to provide IV sedation to the point where a patient can tolerate a dental procedure but where they do not require any assistance with their breathing, however, given the medications being used, it is important that all practitioners have skills in advanced airway management and resuscitation.
This position is best suited to practitioners with training in anesthetics, emergency medicine, intensive care, or GP anesthetics.
